Jesus never led an army, he never took political office and he never entered a religious order. The child of a peasant woman, he grew up in a small town, in an obscure part of the Roman Empire.

And yet he changed the world! During his short life on earth, he fed the hungry, healed the sick and taught with authority. He exposed the hypocrisy of religious leaders, forgave the sinners and claimed that through him they could be reconciled with God. As a result, he was crucified and died the most brutal death. But his resurrection from the dead proved that his claims were true and that through him God was beginning to put the world to rights.

WIN UK exists because of Jesus and today, and together with millions of Christians around the globe, we gather to celebrate him as our Saviour and are committed to sharing the Gospel with everyone.
